Anti-Barricade Solutions
Anti-Barricade products enable staff to quickly enter a room which has been barricaded by a patient.
Removable Doorstop Frame
The Removable Doorstop Frame is a full-length, aluminium, fire-rated, frame-mounted doorstop. It provides quick outward opening of doors that normally open inwards. During normal use the stop remains locked to the door frame to act as a traditional stop. 2100m and 2400mm stops are available in Right or Left Handed configuration.
Movastop Detachable Doorstop
An alternative anti-barricade solution is the Movastop Detachable Doorstop which, in conjunction with a double swing door, is an effective solution to help overcome a barricade situation. The Movastop blends in well with the door frame, is robust and resistant to abuse and tampering.
1. During normal use the stop remains locked to the door frame preventing the door from swinging outward.
2. In the event of a barricade, staff can fully detach the Movastop from the door frame, using a Lifeline Key.
3. With the Movastop removed from the jamb the door can swing outward, away from the barricade, allowing staff to enter.
